AirAsia has achieved its inaugural flight between Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), India and Kuala Lumpur, the carrier's first route to India. Barely a month after opening the sale for the route, AirAsia is set to record an average of more than 80% load factor both ways. The low-fare airline currently serves the route with direct daily flights on 180-seat Airbus A320s.
