ADEX 2015: South Korean firms start RQ-4 production

Production of the fuselage for the first Northrop Grumman Global Hawk for the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) is proceeding at Moss Point, Mississippi, while South Korean companies will also contribute components.

As part of 30% offset obligations, Northrop Grumman has two main Korean partners via MoUs signed in 2013. These are Firstec and Korea Jig and Fixtures (KJF), which will manufacture wire harnesses and precision machine parts respectively.

At the Seoul ADEX show on 22 October, Northrop Grumman celebrated the first local production of parts by these companies.
