ScanEagle further global proliferation

In recent days, three new international customers for the Insitu ScanEagle tactical UAV have emerged.

Under a US$15.2 Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contract inked on 29 September, Pakistan will receive an undisclosed number of systems by August next year. Approximately 10% of the work will be carried out locally.

On the same day, other ScanEagle FMS contracts were announced for Kenya and Cameroon, with one analogue system to be delivered to each African nation by September 2016. The Kenyan deal is worth $9.86 million, while that for Cameroon amounts to $9.39 million.
