Paris Air Show: Italian Air Force to receive Predator trainer

CAE has been contracted to develop and deliver upgrades to a Predator UAS mission trainer being developed for the Italian Air Force (ITAF).

The company has been contracted by the Italian Directorate for Air Armaments and Airworthiness (DAAA). CAE, General Atomics and the ITAF presented the new contract at a signing ceremony at the Paris Air Show 2015.

‘The company originally signed a contract to develop a generic UAS mission trainer in 2014,’ company officials explained.
