GA-ASI, SENER to offer Predator B to Spain
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI) and SENER will partner to offer the Predator B Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to Spain, GA-ASI announced on 2 March.
The partnership agreement between the two companies will promote the use of the multi-mission Predator B to support Spain's airborne surveillance and reconnaissance requirements. SENER will optimise and synergise Predator B data collection in support of the customer.
Predator B provides situational awareness for border areas and maritime approaches and supports military missions worldwide.
Frank Pace, president, aircraft systems, GA-ASI, said: 'GA-ASI is fully committed to working with Spanish industry as we believe this programme's success requires local industry partnerships that provide collaborative innovation in enhancing the capabilities of Predator B for the Spanish government.'
