First customer signs on for SkyISTAR UAS mission management system

Selex Galileo are at 'a very advanced stage of negotiation' for the first sale of their SkyISTAR mission-management and data-fusion solution for UAS. Fabrizio Boggiani, VP of marketing and sales for air systems, UAS and simulators said that while the deal 'was not yet final, we are very much advanced to sign the first contract.'

Selex 'would like to see everything completed and in order' before giving any further detail on the sale, Boggiani said, but confirmed that work had already begun on the unnamed customer's order.

SkyISTAR, announced at DSEi in London last year, is a platform- and sensor-agnostic
