ECA Group wins two export contracts for USVs
ECA Group has revealed that it has secured export contracts valued at over $10.72 million for systems from its Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) portfolio.
The first export order is a contract option for two Inspector Mk2-type USVs by an undisclosed customer after an initial order was placed in early 2014.
The second contract is for two underwater mine identification and neutralisation systems for the navy of an Asian country. The contract, worth several million euros, will see the systems installed on a partner’s USVs.
The systems are expected to be delivered to the navy in 2016 and 2017.
