Cyber Technology prepares for back to back new systems trials

Cyber Technology is preparing for a series of flight demonstrations of its Cybird II unmanned air system (UAS) for the Australian Department of Defence in late June, carrying a new maritime version of the Sentient Vision Systems ‘Kestrel’ imagery analysis software system and an automatic maritime target visual recognition suite.

The demonstrations will initially focus on automatic identification of warships, but will also include trials of the combined suite in performing airborne spotting of sharks off the main surf beaches of Perth, Western Australia.

In parallel the company is planning to flight test its new Cybird VX high speed target
