AUVSI 2014: Yamaha unveils Fazer in US

Yamaha Motor Corporation has showed its newly developed Fazer remotely piloted helicopter for the first time in the US at AUVSI.

‘Fazer is the next generation of remotely piloted helicopter in the field of precision agriculture,’ said a spokesperson for Yamaha on 15 May. 

The helicopter, unveiled in October 2013, has an increased payload capacity of 53lb, about 50% improvement over the RMAX model, which is also on display.

In addition, the helicopter has a higher functionality using a newly designed transmitter and new control system.
