AUVSI 2012: Army highlights Gray Eagle training and deployment status

In his address to AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems North America 2012, Col Grant Webb, US Army TRADOC [Training and Doctrine Command] Capability Manager for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, provided an update on current training, testing, and deployment status for that service’s Gray Eagle UAS.

‘The first unit equipped, Fox/227, is the unit that was first brought together to receive the Gray Eagle, our Group 4 UAS,’ he explained. ‘And that is the unit that is in theatre right now.’
