Metro Aviation delivers first EC145s to Sanford Health
Metro Aviation has announced that it has delivered the first of three EC145 helicopters to Sanford Health. The company made the announcement in a 9 January 2012 company statement.
According to Metro Aviation, the aircraft is complete with a full EMS configuration, operational options, single pilot IFR and air conditioning. In addition, this aircraft is equipped with the internal 10 Liter LOX system. Metro Aviation offers single and dual external gas as well as single external LOX systems.
Sanford Health plans to have this aircraft in service by the beginning of February at the Sioux Falls, ND location, replacing the Bell products currently in use for HEMS. The two additional aircraft are scheduled for delivery to the Sanford Heath in Fargo, ND in the first quarter of 2012.
