Bell Helicopter and their affiliate company McTurbine are pleased to announce that McTurbine has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the Rolls-Royce Model 250 Series II and Series IV helicopter turbine engines.

McTurbine has over 20 years experience in the overhaul and repair of turbine engines with a long and successful history of providing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized support for Honeywell T53 and T55 engines and accessories. This expansion into the light helicopter turbine market is a focused effort by Bell Helicopter and McTurbine to provide Bell Helicopter operators with a one stop support and service option.

Ken Essary, general manager and vice president said, "This is a significant step toward achieving McTurbine and Bell Helicopter's goal of supporting all Bell Helicopter platforms with industry leading turbine engine MRO services. Our team's dedication to producing a quality product is reflected in the FAA's approval of our new Model 250 capability. We are very proud to be part of the Bell Helicopter Customer Support and Services team and excited to offer this new level of support for our operators."
