Pinnacle Airlines August performance data announced
Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has released capacity and operational results for its Pinnacle Airlines, Inc. subsidiary for August 2009.
The carrier generated 408,651,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 3.5% decrease on August 2008’s 423,669,000. Capacity, in available seat miles (ASMs) numbered 510,921,000, compared with 543,147,000 ASMs last August – a 5.9% cut.
This resulted in a 2 percentage point increase in load factor to 80.0% from 78.0%. Total passengers carried numbered 1,003,578, 13.3% up on last year’s 885,619.
Block hours flown remained relatively constant, August 2009’s 36,386 hours being just 0.5% up on last August’s figure of 36,207.
The CRJ200 fleet remained the same, at 124, while five CRJ900s were added from one August to the next, taking that fleet to 16 aircraft.
