GECAS delivers new A320 to Tiger Airways
GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has announced the delivery of a new Airbus A320-200 to Tiger Airways, the second of two delivered from GECAS to Tiger by way of sale and lease back.
The two aircraft were part of Tiger’s 66 aircraft firm orderbook with Airbus.
Tony Davis, president and group CEO of Tiger Aviation, remarked, "We are delighted to be working with GECAS as we continue to grow our fleet and network. Tiger Airways, based in Singapore, currently has a fleet of 10 aircraft operating from its base and an additional seven within its subsidiary Tiger Airways Australia.
