Fokker Services has signed a manufacturing licence agreement with Goodrich‘s landing gear business for the future manufacturing and supply of Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 main landing gear spare parts.

Under the terms of this agreement Fokker Services has the exclusive rights to manufacture all the main landing gear parts for these out-of-production aircraft models. The parts manufactured under this deal will be used to overhaul the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 main landing gear as well as to provide spare parts to Fokker operators.

With this agreement Fokker Services is able to secure the future availability of main landing gear parts for its customers to support the worldwide competitive operation of the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 fleet.

Erik Geertsema, vice-president component and material services of Fokker Services, remarked, “This licence agreement supports our new life cycle support programme for out-of-production aircraft. The programme, entitled FLYFokker, covers all the phases in the life cycle of the operation.”
