ERA 2009: Baboo to provide ski service to Geneva from London Oxford
Swiss regional Baboo is to begin a weekly service to Geneva from London Oxford Airport from 19 December.
The flight, each Saturday, will leave Oxford in the early afternoon, following a morning flight n the opposite direction. “We aim to run the service throughout the ski season, but if it proves popular it could become year-round. And we will carry skis free of charge,” confirmed a smiling Jacques Bankir, Baboo’s CEO. “We will also be the first international airline to offer scheduled service from Oxford.”
Meanwhile, Bankir and his team have been strengthening Baboo’s market position via codeshare agreements with Air France/KLM, Tarom and the new Olympic Air. “And there’s a fourth to come,” Bankir indicated.
