easyJet adds two more from D?sseldorf
easyJet is to fly from Düsseldorf to Rome Fiumicino and London Gatwick from February 2010.
The carrier says this expansion of its network from Düsseldorf underlines its plan to grow at major airports and on important routes for business travellers in Europe.
From November, easyJet will start the first route from Düsseldorf to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.
“By the addition of these two new destinations we are further expanding our range on heavily-used routes and are offering an attractive new connection for the people of Düsseldorf as well as to the passengers of Rome and London,” commented Thomas Haagensen, CEO of easyJet Germany. “Especially for business travellers, the new easyJet routes are a favourable and time-saving alternative in economically difficult times.”
