Blue1 offers seasonal D?sseldorf?Lapland service

From 14 January 2010, Blue1 is to fly from the Düsseldorf in North Rhine-Westphalian to Kittila, Lapland, once a week.

Düsseldorf International is the only German destination for Blue1, the Finnish subsidiary of the Scandinavian airline SAS. There are scheduled flights available as well as package tours offered by tour operators such as Troll Tours Reisen, DERTOUR or Wolters Reisen.

The Blue1 aircraft lands in Düsseldorf at 09:35 every Thursday and flies back to the North of Finland at 10:15. The connection to the winter destination will be offered up until 25 March.

Kittila is situated in the heart of Lapland, about 150 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. From November to March there is usually permanently snow.
