airBaltic begins Riga to Pskov flights

airBaltic has inaugurated its new route from Riga to the Russian city of Pskov.

The airline will perform nonstop flights from Riga to Pskov twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays using Fokker 50 aircraft for the one hour journey.

Tero Taskila, chief commercial officer of airBaltic, commented, "The Riga–Pskov route strengthens our foothold in Russia where we already serve Moscow, St Petersburg and Kaliningrad. Pskov will attract greater numbers of tourists from western Europe, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean region, and the CIS.”
