VIDEO: Brazil's killing house training

28th July 2015 - 10:37 GMT | by Tim Fish in Rio de Janeiro

RSS

Brazilian Army soldiers train in close quarter battle drills at the CAAdEX training centre.

They are using a soldier training system from Saab Systems, which uses sensors and transmitter fitted to the soldiers' vests, helmets and rifles. It can detect shots fired and any hits to tell each trainee if they have been killed or wounded.

The system will record the data for an assessment in the after action review. There are also replica grenades, ATGMs and IEDs provided as part of the training system to expand the range of scenarios practised.
