ManTech wins NAVAIR test support contract

ManTech has announced that it has been awarded a contract by the US Navy to provide flight test support solutions for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Manned and Unmanned Air Vehicle Evaluation Division (AIR 5.1.6). The contract, announced 27 April, 2012, is worth $46 million over a three-year performance period.

AIR 5.1.6 conducts work to integrate, test and evaluate aircraft flying qualities and performance, propulsion systems, mechanical systems, air vehicle subsystems, structures, shipboard interoperability, air traffic control and landing systems; and mission planning systems.

Under this contract, ManTech will provide programme management, flight test engineering, software development and test, air vehicle stores compatibility, ballistics analysis and modelling, simulation and analysis solutions.
