AOC 2011: Current operations driving EW requirements, says ITT Exelis
Recent operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and most recently Libya have reignited interest in EW capabilities, ITT Exelis executives have claimed.
Speaking to Shephard at the Association of Old Crows (AOC) exhibition on 15 November, VP and GM for Airborne Electronic Attack, Robert Ferrante, said lessons learned from such theatres had increased interest in RF and IR technology which he added, had been dormant for a number of years.
