I/ITSEC 2012: Boeing upgrades CRVS

Boeing has added JVC's new e-Shift 8K projection technology to its Constant Resolution Visual System (CRVS), it has emerged.

The added technology will allow the pilot training system to provide around four times more resolution of HD 'for more realistic and effective military training'. 

'We're now using the latest generation of JVC projectors,' Mark McGraw, VP of training systems and government services, global services and support at Boeing, told a media briefing during the I/ITSEC conference on 3 December. 'This gets us closer to 20:20 vision.’
