AFCEA West 2012: Flightcom looks to defence market growth

Flightcom is focusing its efforts on integrating its range of wireless headsets into established military programmes of record in order to increase its defence footprint.

Speaking at the AFCEA West conference in San Diego, Reed Stager, chief operating officer at the company, told Shephard that Flightcom 'is actively investing into international military and more federal programmes', and is currently working with system integrators to include the system in military programmes.

'It can be integrated with any existing radio or network,' he said of the Flightcom Wireless family, and although some 500,000 systems have been deployed in wired and wireless form,
