I/ITSEC: Turning point in training highlighted

US Army and Navy service chiefs signified a change to the approach to training after 13 years of conflict in the Middle East.

At the Flag Officer Panel during I/ITSEC in Orlando it was highlighted that significant changes need to be made as the nature of conflict changes in the post-Afghanistan era. 

‘We have spent the last 13 years working to be comfortable,’ said Lt Gen Robert Brown, commanding general, US Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth, speaking at the panel.
