Yakutia Airlines signs up for two Superjet 100s

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, Yakutia Airlines, the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Finance Leasing Company have announced the signing of the purchase agreement for the delivery of two Sukhoi Superjet 100/95 aircraft. The delivery of the first jet is scheduled for February 2011.

“With the Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Yakutia’s fleet, the airline will be able to solidify its positions in the market and operate commercially efficient aircraft. Still further, SSJ100’s characteristics will bring Yakutia more success on its regional routes “, remarked Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk, SCAC’s president.

Ivan Prostit, director general of Yakutia Airlines, commented, “The Sukhoi Superjet 100 is an economically efficient, modern and comfortable aircraft, meeting all international requirements to service, maintenance and comfort. The SSJ100 will help us provide our passengers with added comfort aboard, offer safer flights, expand our route networks and [enable increased frequencies].”
