The conference will focus on the development and employment of UVs and their potential  in India to include Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles, Micro and Mini UAVs, Unmanned Ground Vehicles (surveillance, EOD, load carrying), Payloads (Sensors, EW, Weapons), Ground Stations (data-links, launch and recovery systems), Aerial Targets and Maritime Unmanned Systems.

The conference will have high level participation from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Academia, Defence Public Sector Undertakings and other Defence Establishments. The best international speakers and experts will address the audience.

As well as the high spec conference, the event also aims to bring in international companies into India and identify possible avenues for joint collaboration and promote proactive participation of industry in development of UVs.

The Manekshaw Centre is a modern multi-utility state-of-the-art building constructed in 2010. Built at a cost of $14.5 million and spread over 25 acres. The Centre was inaugurated by Mrs Pratibha Patil, Hon’ble President of India on 21st October 2010.

Built in the memory of Field Marshal SHFJ Manekshaw, it is situated on the left side of the main road (NH8) from International Airport-Dhaula Kuan-Hotel ITC Maurya (approx. distance from Airport-9 kms; from Hotel ITC Maurya 5 kms). 

The Convention Centre is designed to hold conferences, seminars, exhibitions, stage performances, investiture ceremonies and banquets.


How to get there

1. From Dhaula Kuan Intersection: Take the National Highway 8 to International Airport/ Gurgaon. Manekshaw Centre is 3.5km from the intersection on the right.

2. From International Airport: Take the National Highway 8 to Dhaula Kuan. Manekshaw Centre is -- km after descending from the -- flyover on the left.
