SAR Europe 2012 Mar 15 - Mar 16 2012

SAR Europe 2012

First held in 1998, Shephard’s Search and Rescue exhibition and conference has developed a global reputation for being the essential gathering for SAR professionals. Organised with the full support of the Irish Coast Guard, SAR Europe 2012 will bring together experts from all areas of the SAR community from Europe and beyond. With the UK SAR H contract back in play, together with a number of European maritime projects there will be a great deal of topical interest.

The 15th SAR Europe conference will give a first-hand view of the demanding circumstances of today’s search and rescue missions, as civil SAR experts and practitioners from around the world gather to share their unique stories of saving lives, and how they cope with their varied and diverse operational missions. From the battlefield to raging seas, from scenes of extreme natural disasters to isolated and desperate lives hanging in the balance.

SAR Europe 2012 will provide the largest international gathering of SAR experts in Europe

The conference is taking place during the week of the St Patricks day celebrations so it should be a full schedule for all those who are able to attend.

The conference programme promises to debate, educate, inform and discuss current issues and developments in both the SAR and CSAR sectors.
