For 2011, the event will focus on the progress made towards delivering solutions that help the defence enterprise make the most effective use of information, including the ways in which we share and protect that information.

The event will again showcase the work of the UK MoD/Defence Industry Joint Information Group.

The Workshops will be presented by the UK National Codification Bureau supported by Industry Primes, MoD Project Teams and international subject matter experts, and will be held as a parallel stream on Day Two. View Codification programme >

The conference panel discussions will include the overall Policy and Guidance, Information for new Contracting Models, Delivered Information Architectures and the use of underpinning Global Information Standards, Enabling Interconnection approaches including the Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program and requirements for Information Assurance.
 
The debate will look to assess the progress towards re-usability, coherence and interoperability and what still needs to be done for effective and secure information sharing across Team Defence.
