Tony Skinner

Tony is editor-in-chief for all Shephard editorial content as well as being the editor of Defence Helicopter and Rotorhub magazines. He took over the rotorcraft portfolio in 2009, after five years with Jane’s Defence Weekly, where he was latterly the magazine’s features editor.

Tony covered a range of defence technologies, including C4ISR systems, cyber warfare and space systems, before accepting the challenge of covering all things rotary for Shephard Media. Before moving to the UK, Tony was a reporter for a regional New Zealand newspaper.
